Novato Holds Pride-Themed Virtual Storytime

A Pride-themed virtual storytime will be held on the first three Saturdays of this month.

NOVATO, CA — Novato is bringing the city’s inaugural Pride celebration this month to kids.

A Pride-themed virtual storytime will be held on the first three Saturdays of this month.

The event is presented by the city’s Parks and Recreation Department and Copperfield’s Books Novato.

The free event features three short children’s stories themed around celebrating Pride, inclusion and the city’s LGBTQ+ community.

Children of all ages are welcome, city officials said.

Pre-registration to this event is required.

To preregister email novatofun@novato.org or message @novatofun on Facebook or Instagram with your email address and number of guests watching to be added to the guest list.

Guests will be emailed a link to the Virtual Theater 10 minutes before the show starts.

The Virtual Theater will open at 9 a.m. and guests will have three minutes to enter before the “doors” close and the 20-to 30-minute show begins.
