NOVATO, CA — A Novato man convicted of possessing child pornography was sentenced to six months in jail last week, The Marin Independent Journal reports.
Curtis Alan McCutcheon, 60, pleaded guilty to one felony count of child pornography possession according to the report. He was sentenced May 4.
The former Marin County employee was arrested at his Novato apartment in June, culminating a probe that began with Google alerting authorities that an image depicting child sex had been uploaded by a computer in their jurisdiction, the report said.

Authorities obtained a warrant to search McCutcheon’s computer and found nearly 400 images depicting “child erotica” according to the report.
