  • Letters to Leprechauns – Children of all ages can receive a letter via Novato Parks & Recreation from a Leprechaun! Children should drop their letter in the lucky mail-slot at the Novato Gymnastics Center, 950 7th Street from March 1-12 to receive a letter from a local Novato Leprechaun!
  • Easter “Egg” Scavenger Hunt – Visit several of Novato’s Parks between March 28 – April 4 to locate some colorfully painted rocks "eggs" that the Easter Bunny has placed for you to find! This event is for children of all ages under adult supervision. Participants are encouraged to look for the rocks but please leave them where they are for the next lucky person to find them! “Eggs” will be hidden at the following Novato Parks beginning March 28: Arroyo Avichi, Hamilton Amphitheater, Hillside Park, Hoog Park, Pioneer Park, South Hamilton, & Stafford Grove.

All Parks & Recreation programming will continue to abide by current County of Marin guidelines and the State of California’s Blueprint for a Safer Economy. Additionally, Novato’s recreation programs follow health and safety protocols including social distancing, handwashing, face covering, frequent surface cleaning and disinfecting, and other precautionary practices. Please know that we will continue to closely monitor Marin’s current tier status and will keep our community informed of any changes to our programming.
