Novato Residents Urged To Get Evac Tags

Each tag includes instructions in English and Spanish.

NOVATO, CA – Novato residents are being urged to pick up evacuation tags, a new tool that city officials say will help public safety agencies respond more efficiently to emergencies.

The tags are designed to be hung in a location highly visible from the street when residents evacuate, such as a mailbox, front door, garage, or end of a driveway.

Each tag includes instructions in English and Spanish.
