Novato Returns Downtown Farmers Market

NOVATO, CA — The Downtown Novato Farmers Market will return next week, city officials said.

The weekly event will be held Tuesdays from May 4 through October 26 from 4-8 p.m. behind the CVS store on 7th Street between Grant Avenue and Novato Boulevard.

“Maintaining access to fresh, local, healthy food remains a priority for all, and we can’t wait to welcome our community back to the market!” city officials said in a statement.

The market will continue to offer online ordering with curbside pickup.

Orders can be placed by 5 p.m. the day before the market and pick up instructions will be provided. More information about this service is available here.

State and local COVID-19 guidelines will be enforced.

Market staffers will wear masks and gloves and follow cleanliness procedures including handwashing and disinfecting of surfaces and objects.

Food sampling and community eating areas will not be available.

Downtown Novato Farmers Market visitors are asked to stay home if they feel sick and will be required to wear masks at all times and practice social distancing.
