Novato Revisits Weed Sales Laws: Report

Highway 420 takes an early exit amid community pushback against the proposed Novato cannabis delivery service, the report said.

NOVATO, CA — Blowback following its approval of a Novato cannabis delivery service has led the City Council to reconsider how it regulates dispensaries, The Marin Independent Journal reports.

The council earlier this month voted unanimously to discuss whether dispensaries should be allowed to operate in areas zoned for business and commercial space according to the report.

The cannabis delivery service, Highway 420, has since withdrawn its application for the 205 San Marin Drive location for which it was conditionally approved according to the report.
