Novato School Calendar 2018-19: First Day Of School, Vacations

NOVATO, CA— The first day of School in Novato is August 23 — and whether you and the kids are looking forward to the new school year or are dreading the end of summer, you’ll want to mark the dates on your calendar ASAP. The Novato Unified School District has released its 2018-2019 calendars for public schools.

The calendars include important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.

Here is the full list of dates to know for this school year:

• 10/12: Staff Development

November

• 11/9, 11/13-11/16: Parent Teacher Conferences
• 11/12: Veterans Day
• 11/19-11/23: No School (Thanksgiving)

December

• 12/24-12/31: Winter Break

January

• 1/1-1/4: No School (New Year's Day)
• 1/21: No School (Martin Luther King Jr. Day)

February

• 2/18: No School (Presidents' Day)
• 2/18-2/22: Mid-Winter Break

April

• 4/8-4/12: No School (Spring Break)

May

• 5/27: No School (Memorial Day)

June

• 6/13: Last Day of School
