Overnight Closures Of SR-37 Scheduled Until Nov. 4

NOVATO, CA — Caltrans began closing sections of westbound state Route 37 in Novato over the weekend to perform storm damage repairs along the highway.
The temporary closures will be between the Atherton Avenue off-ramp and Highway 101. The closures are slated until Friday, Nov. 4.
Caltrans will be raising the roadway to ease potential flooding.

On Sundays and weekdays during that time, one lane will be closed from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m., there will be a full closure from 11 p.m. to 3 a.m., and one lane will be closed from 3 a.m. to 5 a.m.
On Saturdays, there will be one lane closure from 7 p.m. to 8 a.m. and a full closure from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m.

Caltrans officials reminded motorists to drive with caution through the construction zone. Motorists should also expect delays.
Westbound SR-37 commuters can use northbound Atherton Avenue to Highway 101 as a detour, according to Caltrans.
