Proud To Be Her Mom: Novato Mother's Day Photos

NOVATO, CA — Whether it's through their personality, looks, hobbies or a combination of everything, daughters become a reflection of the woman who raised them. With Mother's Day 2018 right around the corner, we are celebrating that special bond by inviting Patch readers across California to share their "mother-daughter lookalike" photos.

Novato resident Kris Starn sent us this sweet photo of her and her daughter, Angie. The picture was taken in April 2017 in the backyard of her in-laws' house in Novato.

"I am so proud to be Angie's mom," Kris said. "She is just finishing up her sophomore year at San Marin and is an incredible role model for her two younger sisters. She is academic, athletic, musical, kind and funny. I know she will accomplish great things in this wonderful life."
