NOVATO, CA — San Marin overcame an early three-run deficit to defeat crosstown rival Novato 5-4 Tuesday in a Marin County Athletic League baseball gam

Andrew Abell hit a three-run homer and Chase McAndrew had three hits to help San Marin overcome a 3-0 deficit going into the top of the fourth in the Mustangs second straight win and third in four games.

Sophomore Josh Martin pitched three relief innings of two-hit ball for the win in which he struck out five, walked two and gave up one run.
