Seen This Guy? He's a Burglary Suspect

Novato police are asking the public's keen eyes to help find a residential burglary suspect who eluded capture on Dec. 19.

Investigators concluded that Novato resident Shawn Buckley, 18, has been linked to burglaries in the San Marin neighborhood that day. His cohort, Cody Lawson, 20, of Novato was arrested a few hours after the first call about a home break-in on San Luis Way.

Buckley is described as white, 6-foot-2, 135 pounds, with shoulder-length brown hair and green eyes. Law enforcement officers from several agencies combed the San Marin area for hours after the burglaries but could not locate Buckley.

Anyone with information about Buckley's whereabouts is invited to call Novato police at 897-4361. Meanwhile, the investigation is ongoing, according to Det. Mike Howard.
