Special Memories With Pop: Novato Father's Day Photo

NOVATO, CA – Sons and daughters become a reflection of the men who raise them. With Father's Day 2018 right around the corner, we are celebrating that special bond by inviting Patch readers across California to share photos of their dads, whether the father figure in their life is their biological dad, stepdad or granddad.

Novato resident and Patch reader LaDonna Dorsey sent this photo of her and her dad, Arthur Richardson, who lives in Del City, Oklahoma. The picture was captured 11 years ago in Bodega Bay.

"I see him a couple of times a year; this picture was the last one of him visiting me in California," she wrote. "Special memories made that day, and every day with him in my life. Happy Father's Day, Pop!"
