Grant Avenue had a real holiday vibe to it on Friday night. The restaurants were packed and several of the boutiques and gift shops stayed open until 8 or 9 p.m. Santa showed up for photos and Indian Valley Carriage Company offered rides. The business owners and patrons were serenaded by Mondays at 6, a choral group led by famed high school music teacher Emily Gates. A few young girls joined the carolers, too.
