Two Arrested for Burglarizing Novato Cosmetics Store

Two young men were arrested Tuesday after they allegedly entered the Sephora cosmetics store at Vintage Oaks and stole large quantities of cologne from the shelf, the Novato Police Department said.

The suspects left the store and were later spotted at a Santa Rosa Sephora, although they did not appear to take anything there. Santa Rosa Police initiated a traffic stop and arrested Robert Carson, 21, from Pittsburg, and Kelvin Burton, 19, from San Francisco.

A third person, a 57-year-old Antioch woman, is also believed to have assisted in the crime spree, although she has not yet been charged.
