Happy Mother’s Day From Natalie Sturm
"I have missed her every day since her passing, but I know she is always within us."
In celebration of Mother's Day on Sunday May 13, we asked Patch readers to write a letter to their mother and let us deliver it. This is Natalie Sturm's letter to her mom:
My mom is in heaven. She passed the day after Thanksgiving of 1985 in Thousand Oaks, California.
She taught me humility, courage, love, patience, virtue, goodness in others, loyalty and most of all, enjoying the zest of life, no matter the circumstances. She showed me how to be a mother to my own children.
I have missed her every day since her passing, but I know she is always within us. Happy Mother’s Day, Mom!
