Injured Person Rescued After Vehicle Plunges From Peninsula Cliff

Cal Fire said the person suffered critical injuries.

SAN MATEO COUNTY, CA — Paramedics rescued a person from a vehicle that plunged from a San Mateo County cliff on Highway 1, Cal Fire reported on Twitter.

The person was hospitalized and is in serious condition according to Cal Fire.

Cal Fire first reported a rescue in progress at Gray Whale Cove south of Devils Slide late Monday morning.
