Pacifica DUI Suspect Involved In Injury Crash Arrested

A passenger in the vehicle was hospitalized with injuries according to police.

PACIFICA, CA – A Pacifica man who was allegedly behind the wheel of car that crashed into a fence and injured a passenger Tuesday was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, the Pacifica Police Department said in a news release.

Officers arrived about 9 p.m. at the crash scene at Linda Mar Boulevard and De Solo Drive, where witnesses identified 28-year-old Miala Murphy as the driver.

A passenger in the vehicle was hospitalized with injuries. Murphy, who police said acknowledged being at the wheel, "displayed symptoms of being under the influence" and was arrested on suspicion of DUI after an investigation.
