Pacifica Hit-And-Run Reported, Police Seek Help
Police are asking for help finding a vehicle believed to have been involved in the incident. Do you recognize it?

PACIFICA, CA — Pacifica police are asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect and vehicle involved in a hit-and-run that happened earlier this week. They're also sharing an image of the vehicle believed to have been involved in the collision, in the hopes someone may recognize it.
The incident happened Monday night in the area of Manor Drive and Palmetto Avenue.
"The victim reported that at approximately 7:45 p.m. she was walking northbound on Palmetto Avenue within the crosswalk when she was struck by a white vehicle traveling westbound on Manor Drive," police said in a news release.

After hitting the woman, the driver of the SUV kept heading west and did not stop, police said. Though hit, the woman was able to keep walking and later called police.
"The victim had a complaint of pain from the collision, but reported no significant
injuries," police said. "She declined medical assistance at the scene."

Officers searched the area but did not find the suspect vehicle. However, they located surveillance video from a nearby business that shows a light-colored Jeep Cherokee or similar vehicle that may have damage to the front end and hood, police said.
