Pacifica Police Arrest Sexual Battery Suspect

Pacifica police arrested a 25-year-old man suspected of committing sexual battery.

At about 9:50 a.m. on Monday, Pacifica police responded to the area of Manor Drive and Monterey Road for a report of a sexual battery that had just occurred. 

The adult female victim told responding officers that she was walking eastbound on Manor Drive in the area of Monterey Road when she was approached by an adult male suspect that she did not know.

The victim reported being restrained and sexually battered by the suspect. 

Within five minutes of the assault, a Pacifica police officer located and arrested the suspect in the 400 block of Manor Drive. The suspect, 25-year-old Jeremy Castro of Pacifica, was positively identified by the victim. 

Castro was booked into the San Mateo County Jail on suspicion of felony sexual battery, false imprisonment and violation of probation.
