PACIFICA, CA — This year’s historic wildfire season has brought stunning visuals. Just days before the Bay Area awoke to dark orange skies, photographer Maryann Tomola captured this stunning image of a Pacifica beach at sunset on Sept. 5 in which the Pacific Ocean appears to be purple.
