12 Homeless People Arrested At Palm Desert Encampments
The operation targeted "numerous homeless encampments" in the north Palm Desert area, according to the Palm Desert Sheriff's Station.

PALM DESERT, CA — Twelve people were recently arrested in north Palm Desert following a "Quality of Life & Homeless Outreach Operation" conducted by sheriff's deputies.
The Feb. 4 operation targeted "numerous homeless encampments" in the area, according to the Palm Desert Sheriff's Station.
Half of the people were arrested on suspicion of trespassing on railroad property. Others were taken into custody for drug possession, warrants, and other crimes, the station reported.

All of the arrestees were provided with "homeless resource information," according to the station.
"All individuals have had, and will continue to have, access to resources, which will assist them in ending their endless cycle of homelessness," the station reported.
