2020's 'Wolf Moon' Over Palm Springs: Photo Of The Day
We'd love to feature your photos on Patch!

COACHELLA VALLEY, CA — The last full moon of 2020 appeared on Dec. 29, and sharpshooter Katherine Campbell captured it over Palm Springs. What a beautiful sight!
There are a lot of names given to this last full moon of the year: The Wolf Moon, Ice Moon, Cold Moon, the Moon after Yule, the Long Night Moon, the Datta Jayanti Moon, Unduvap Poya, and the Chang'e Moon. Read more about it from NASA here.
Thank you for sharing, Katherine.
