Barbara Sinatra, Beloved Philanthropist And Wife Of Legendary Crooner, Dies At 90
"Lady Blue Eyes," as she was known, was a staple of the Coachella Valley community.

RANCHO MIRAGE, CA — Barbara Sinatra, a beloved member of the Coachella Valley community known for her countless charitable efforts, has died. Sinatra — who was the fourth and final wife of legendary crooner Frank Sinatra — passed away Tuesday at her Rancho Mirage home at the age of 90.
The Sinatras' roots ran deep in the California desert community. The duo married at Walter Annenberg's Rancho Mirage estate in 1976. In the 1980s, they raised funds for what would become the Barbara Sinatra Children’s Center on the Eisenhower Medical Center campus, which "... is dedicated to ensuring every child’s right to a normal, healthy and secure childhood" after suffering physical, sexual or emotional abuse, according to the organization's website. The world-renowned center has provided treatment for more than 20,000 children since its inception.
Barbara Sinatra, or "Lady Blue Eyes," was a model and Las Vegas showgirl prior to marrying Frank Sinatra and was married to him longer than any of his other wives. She is survived by her only son, Robert Marx, from her previous marriage to actor-comedian Zeppo Marx, daughter-in-law Hillary Roberts and granddaughter Carina Blakeley Marx.
