Body Found In Burned-Out Vehicle Near Oasis: Information Sought

OASIS, CA — Sheriff's homicide investigators continue to seek information about a body found Sunday inside a burned-out vehicle in a desert area near Oasis.

The grisly discovery was made near old state Route 195 and Ave. 70, according to Riverside County Sheriff's Sgt. Rick Espinoza.

"No identification of the remains has been made at this time," Espinoza reported on Monday. "This is an active investigation and no additional details are currently available."
