Cathedral City Mayor Greg Pettis Fondly Remembered By California Desert Association of REALTORS®
PALM DESERT (Calif.) – Cathedral City Mayor and well-respected REALTOR® Greg Pettis, who passed away January 15, was fondly remembered by the California Desert Association of REALTORS®.
“Throughout his years in public service, Greg has demonstrated a daily dedication to his community and to his colleagues, “said Scott Newton, president of the California Desert Association of REALTORS®. “In Cathedral City, he helped to create a first-time homebuyer program to help more people achieve homeownership. It was among a long list of accomplishments in public office that included his work to revitalize his city, build a public library and work toward achieving environmental sustainability through his work with Cal State University San Bernardino.” Pettis has been a CDAR member since 2006.
On behalf of the CDAR Board of Directors and membership, Newton said: “Greg will be a dearly missed voice in our community and among his colleagues at the California Desert Association of REALTORS®. May he rest in peace.”
