CDMOD Hosting Desert-Wide Summer Camp Expo April 1

The free event at the river showcases summer camp options in Coachella Valley.

From CDMOD: Summertime is quickly approaching and parents should be looking for things for their children to do. Don’t be left scrambling! Join Children’s Discovery Museum of the Desert (CDMOD) at the second-annual Summer Camp Expo on Saturday, April 1, and get a jump-start on camp registrations. Families will discover great summer camp options at the desert-wide expo, held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at The River (43-800 Highway 111, Rancho Mirage).

CDMOD offers a number of exciting activity-oriented summer camps for kids. Along with CDMOD, other organizations will be on hand at the expo including Desert Recreation District, First Tee of the Coachella Valley, Idyllwild ARTS, The Living Desert, Palm Canyon Theater, Palm Springs Art Museum, Palm Valley High School Pathfinder Ranch, Santa Rosa and San Jacinto Mountains National Monument, SMaRT Education, and Xavier College Preparatory High School.

“Summer is going to be here before you know it, and we want to make sure all of the families in the desert are prepared and informed about all of the incredible opportunities here in the desert for kids,” said Carol E. Scott, Chief Executive Officer.
