CHiPs for Kids Toy Drive Kicks Off In Palm Desert

From California Highway Patrol- Indio: Friday, November 17th, the California Highway Patrol’s Indio Area is kicking off the annual “CHiPs for Kids” toy drive. The CHP collects toys for needy children here in the Coachella Valley. The event will be held at Walgreens located at 44840 Monterey Avenue, Palm Desert at 1:00 p.m.

Anyone wishing to donate a new, unwrapped toy can do so at any Walgreens in the Coachella Valley, Mathis Brothers in Indio or the Indio CHP Office. The last day to donate toys will be December 18th. The thousands of toys donated will benefit needy families and children here in the Coachella Valley.

The California Highway Patrol is asking everyone to help needy children here in the valley a fantastic holiday.
