Coachella Valley Symphony Announces 2016-17 Concert Season

From the Coachella Valley Symphony:

The Coachella Valley Symphony will kick off its 2016-17 fundraising concert season with the theme “24 Years as Your Community Orchestra – It’s Magic!”

CVSymphony has been providing 24 years of affordable high-level public benefit concerts to audiences of all ages and backgrounds, as well as providing music sources and programs to promising musicians. Its goal is to perpetuate live symphony music and to provide public performance venues for both accomplished youth and adult musicians, to provide symphonic music education to young emerging musicians and to support diversity among individuals and within music presentations. CV Symphony is a volunteer music nonprofit organization.

“I hope that everyone joins us to support Coachella Valley Symphony and its continued vision for local music concerts and programs, as well as music education in our valley,” said board president Dr. Lisa Lindley. “Music changes lives – it is magic.”

Piano Forte II, featuring Steinway Society Concerto Winners

Annenberg Theater, Palm Springs Art Museum

March 5, 2017 at 3 pm

Opera to Broadway, A Musical Spectacular (Auditions will be held for local featured solists)

Galen Auditorium, Rancho Mirage High School

May 5, 2017 at 7 pm Gala Concert

Rhapsody & Blues, featuring Grammy Award winner, Diane Schuur, and Paul Cracchiolo

McCallum Theatre, Rancho Mirage
