College of the Desert Art To Host Faculty Exhibition Artists' Reception

The exhibit opens Monday December 5 and runs through Thursday February 9.

PALM DESERT, CA—College of the Desert’s (COD) Marks Art Center is pleased to announce a new exhibition of work by COD Art faculty, opening Monday December 5 and running through Thursday February 9. An artists' reception is on Thursday, December 8, from 5 to 7 p.m. The event is free and open to the public, and music and refreshments will be provided.

The exhibition includes photography, acrylic paintings, encaustic paintings, drawings, prints, and other two-dimensional and three-dimensional mixed media work, and faculty represented include Judith Cook, Ray Ewing, Ida Foreman, Dennis Johnson, Scott Klinger, Emily Maddigan, Yuki Toyooka Smith, Maggie Tennesen, and Anna-Marie Veloz.

The Marks Art Center is open Monday through Thursday, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Sunday, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.; and by appointment; always free & open to the public. The Marks Art Center (MAC) is a non-profit cultural and educational facility; committed to excellence, MAC provides a venue for creative exploration and community engagement.
