College of the Desert Veterinary Assistant Program Winter 2020
NAVTA approved Veterinary Assistant Program at the PaCE center
College of the Desert is pleased to announce a new NAVTA approved Veterinary Assistant training beginning March 14th, 2020. The class meets on Saturdays from 9 am - 5 pm. The class ends on August 29th, 2020 with a 100 hour externship following the end of class ending in December, 2020.This 250 hour program is offered in partnership with MK Education and is designed to help individuals advance their current healthcare career or to find entry-level employment in this field. This program is eligible for financial assistance under the Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act (WIOA). Certain eligibility requirements apply.
