Coroner IDs 26-Year-Old Woman Killed In Coachella Valley Crash

PALM SPRINGS, CA — A 26-year-old woman was killed in a crash in Palm Springs, coroner's officials said Sunday.
The crash occurred just before 6 p.m. Saturday on North Gene Autry Trail about a quarter-mile south of Salvia Road.
According to the Riverside County coroner's office, Dalia Valle of Cathedral City was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police closed North Gene Autry Trail between Via Escuela and Salvia Road while the crash was being investigated.

A GoFundMe page has been established for the victim.
"I am Dalia Valle's mother and I want to ask you to help me raise funds for her funeral," the page reads in Spanish. "She was 26 years old. She was a mother of a beautiful 6-year-old boy. She died from a car accident. She had many friends who appreciated and loved her, she was a good person and always helped others."
As of Monday morning, the page had raised just over $400.
