Coroner IDs Man Struck, Killed By Vehicle In Indio
The fatal crash was reported just after 9 p.m. Monday on Shadow Palm Avenue, west of Monroe Street.
INDIO, CA — A 57-year-old pedestrian who was struck and killed Monday night in Indio has been identified by authorities.
Domingo Cordova of Indio died at the crash scene just after 9 p.m. in the roadway of Shadow Palm Avenue, west of Monroe Street, according to the Riverside County Sheriff-Coroner's Bureau.
The details of the crash have not been released, but Indio police were conducting an investigation on Shadow Palm Avenue, between Aladdin and Monroe streets. The roadway was closed for several hours following the fatal incident.
