Wednesday's event is organized in conjunction with the Desert Healthcare District & Foundation and Rite Aid Pharmacies.
PALM DESERT, CA — The Coachella Valley Water District Tuesday invited its employees and their families to receive their first COVID-19 vaccine shots Wednesday at a district-organized clinic.
Pfizer vaccines will be available from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the board room of the district's Palm Desert campus. Second shots will be available on May 5 during the same time period and at the same location.
"We are pleased to offer this clinic to our employees," said Katie Evans, CVWD's director of communications and conservation. "It's critical that our essential workers continue to provide water and services to the desert community."
