Earthquake Hits California Near Salton Sea
The earthquake was reported just before 3 a.m. Did YOU feel it?
BOMBAY BEACH, CA— A magnitude 3.6 earthquake struck Bombay Beach in Imperial County early Thursday, according to the United States Geological Survey. The temblor was reported just before 3 a.m.
The quake was felt in Niland, Thermal and as far away as Palm Desert in Riverside County, which is about 50 miles from the epicenter. No injuries were reported as a result of the quake.
