Garage Fire In Palm Desert Quickly Contained

PALM DESERT, CA — Firefighters contained and then extinguished a fire burning inside a garage at a home Wednesday in Palm Desert, according to Cal Fire Riverside.

The blaze in the 37000 block of Mojave Sage Road was reported at 6 p.m.

The department sent six engines and one truck to the scene, the department reported.

Firefighters extinguished the blaze in about 14 minutes, the department said.

No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire remained under investigation.
