Greater Coachella Valley Chamber Of Commerce Names New Leader
Former Temecula Valley Chamber of Commerce CEO Emily Falappino will take over as president and CEO of the GCVCC.

INDIO, CA — The Greater Coachella Valley Chamber of Commerce announced Friday its appointment of a new president and CEO, nearly two months after its former leader Joshua Bonner resigned.
Emily Falappino, who was most recently CEO of the Temecula Valley Chamber of Commerce, beat out more than 100 candidates from around the country for the top job, according to the GCVCC.
“The Board of Directors of the GCVCC cannot express enough how excited we are to have Ms. Falappino join our team," said GCVCC Chairperson of the Board Jeff Levine. "Emily brings experience, professionalism and an energy that will shine bright within the business community of the Coachella Valley. Emily’s outstanding leadership ability, creativity and desire to lead the GCVCC forward is an asset to our members and the community.”

Since Bonner's departure earlier this year, Diana Soto, GCVCC’s vice president of public policy, has served as interim president/CEO.
"We’re delighted to welcome such an experienced industry leader to our organization! Our team is excited to continue the journey of growth with Emily," Soto said.

Falappino holds a master's degree in business administration from Cal State University San Bernardino, and has extensive experience with economic development, business development, visionary leadership, and joint-task projects, according to the GCVCC.
Falappino will be joining the GCVCC in July.
