Hit-And-Run Driver Sought In Fatal La Quinta Crash
Anyone with information about the crash at the intersection of Calle Sinaloa and Avenida Mendoza was urged to call the sheriff's department.

LA QUINTA, CA — Authorities are seeking the public's help in locating a hit-and-run driver accused of causing a crash that killed a 30-year-old man in La Quinta a week and a half ago.
The plea was issued Wednesday by the Riverside County Sheriff's Department, which stated that deputies were sent about 5:30 a.m. on June 7 to the intersection of Calle Sinaloa and Avenida Mendoza.
Sgt. Chris Olsen said the driver of a vehicle struck another vehicle before fleeing the scene.

First responders found Obed Heredia Palomino of La Quinta unconscious in the roadway. He was transported to an area hospital, where he died on June 12.
No information about the driver and suspect vehicle was released.
