Indio Man Killed in Motorcycle Crash Friday Night on Interstate 10

A man was killed as he lost control of his motorcycle while exiting the Interstate 10 freeway in Indio, the coroner's office reported today.

Mark Wauben, 44, of Indio, was heading east on the freeway Friday night when he tried exiting on the Monroe Avenue off-ramp. The fatal crash was reported at 11:17 p.m. and Wauben was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the coroner's office.
