Juvenile Airlifted After Being Struck By Vehicle In La Quinta

LA QUINTA, CA — A juvenile who was struck by a vehicle Tuesday night in La Quinta had to be airlifted to a local hospital, authorities said.
The incident was reported at 9:09 p.m. in the 79100 block of Blackhawk Way, according to Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department, which responded to the scene.
La Quinta Park and La Quinta High School are located in the area. The age of the victim and circumstances of the incident were not released.
