Let's Clear The Shelters: 'Cody' Needs A Home - Maybe Yours?
This sweet fella is among several pets available for adoption at Palm Springs Animal Shelter on Clear the Shelters Day Saturday, Aug. 17.
PALM SPRINGS, CA —Hundreds of animal shelters across the country, including the Palm Springs Animal Shelter in Palm Springs, the Coachella Valley Animal Campus in Thousand Palms and Riverside County Animal Services in Riverside, are participating in Clear the Shelters pet adoption events on Saturday, Aug. 17, to help find forever homes for all types of critters.
At the Palm Springs shelter, prospective pet owners will pay adoption fees under $50, which includes spay/neuter, microchip and vaccines. A $10 microchip clinic also will run, open to the public, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Community Room.
One little pup seeking a family is at the Palm Springs facility, "Cody," a neutered Chihuahua mix and former stray, approximately 4 years old and described as affectionate and sweet with good leash skills. Those interested in Cody can follow this link or reference ID number 42247950.
