We asked Patch readers in more than 1,000 communities to tell us what their moms mean to them. Nearly 200 people responded, paying tribute not just to moms but sometimes to grandmas, sisters and daughters who deserve recognition for Mother’s Day 2021.

Mom, you have always been a positive role model in my life. You are a very strong lady and you have always inspired me to be a good woman; a good wife and mother. You have always been a fun loving, crazy kind of gal; which is why you are so unique. I'd always have plenty of friends telling me "Your mom is so crazy fun and cool, wish I had a mom like that." Hearing this often made me feel so proud. Mom, thank you for being a great mom, and you are truly amazing and you are even more amazing as a Nana to our boys. It has been our pleasure providing you a stable and loving home. We couldn't ask for a better Mom/Nana. We love you FOREVER!
