From Martha's Village and Kitchen: The 11th Annual Thanksgiving Day 5K benefiting Martha’s Village and Kitchen is fast approaching, and registration is open. The charity race, presented by KMIR and Carl’s

Jr. ®, is both competitive (certified course/timed race) and casual with prizes for the winners in several age categories. The event takes place on Thanksgiving Day, November 23, 2017, at 8:00 AM on El Paseo in Palm Desert.

The funds raised will benefit programs offered by Martha’s Village and Kitchen to help better the lives of the impoverished and homeless across the entire Coachella Valley. “We are gearing up for our 11th Annual Thanksgiving Day 5K, and we couldn’t be more excited about it,” said Linda Barrack, CEO and President of Martha’s Village and Kitchen. “It is our biggest fundraiser of the year, and it continues to get better and better. We are grateful for all of the community support and proud of the cherished tradition that the race has become in the Valley.”
