Olive Garden In Palm Desert Gets Makeover

Enjoy your favorite pasta and unlimited soup and salad in remodeled digs! Former furnishings were donated to Coachella Valley ReStore.

PALM DESERT, CA – Olive Garden has completed the remodel of its Palm Desert restaurant, with updated artwork, fabrics, materials, lighting, seating and flooring, as well as the new Olive Garden logo.

Restaurant management highlighted the following new designs at the Palm Desert Olive Garden locale:

  • Distinctive décor, maintaining a comfortable, home-like setting
  • An inviting lobby area with two high-definition digital chalkboards
  • A colorful, backlit bar with recharging stations for mobile devices
  • Flexible seating to accommodate guests and large parties
  • Glass-encased floor-to-ceiling wine cabinets
  • Wine pouring stations in the dining areas.

“My team and I are eager to share our new restaurant design with our guests in Palm Desert,” said Joleen Watson, general manager at the Palm Desert Olive Garden. “The updated décor continues to provide an inviting dining experience while incorporating a more modern feel.”

Originally built in 1992, the eatery, located at 72225 Highway 111, donated the retired furniture and décor to the Coachella Valley Habitat For Humanity ReStore, where sales help fund the construction of Habitat homes in the community.

Since 2010, Olive Garden restaurants nationwide have donated more than $460,000 in furnishings to local Habitat for Humanity ReStore outlets, company officials said.

The Palm Desert Olive Garden is open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.Sundays through Thursdays, and from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
