"I can’t believe my world has stopped and you’re not here with us anymore," Serafina shared on Instagram. "With great honour and privilege has it been to be by your side through the hell and high water. A talented man, yes you were. A man with demons, yet shared the love of angels."
Known as Kid Yamaka, Wohlman's welterweight career included becoming the 2010 winner of the Los Angeles Golden Gloves Tournament. The victory came after the southpaw began training in 2008 with International Boxing Hall of Famer Freddie Roach. Wohlman also trained with Eric Brown, according to published reports.

Wohlman made his professional boxing debut on December 1, 2011, at a capacity turnout for Fight Night Club at Club Nokia in downtown Los Angeles, which aired on Fox Sports Net. He won by unanimous decision.
In the short ESPN+ film documentary "Why We Fight," Wohlman was profiled by director Matt Ogens. The story follows Wohlman’s troubled young background that included drugs and crime, and his path to redemption through boxing and Judaism. The Emmy-nominated series was executive produced by former professional wrestler and UFC fighter Ronda Rousey, produced by Dirty Robber and Religion of Sports, which was co-founded by Gotham Chopra, Tom Brady and Michael Strahan, according to Deadline.
Wohlman's last fight was in Los Angeles, 2017, against American Matt Murphy, according to published reports. The result was a draw.
