Palm Desert To Honor Veterans at Civic Center Park

Palm Desert will honor the sacrifices of those who have served in the military and recognize the dedication of those who continue to serve.

From the City of Palm Desert: Palm Desert will honor the sacrifices of those who have served in the United States’ military and recognize the dedication of those who continue to serve our nation with a free Veterans Day celebration at Civic Center Park on Saturday, November 11, at 11 a.m.

This year’s event will feature a keynote speech from Colonel Kyle Ellison, Regimental Commander of the 7th Marines, the United States Marine Corps regiment that has been adopted by the City of Palm Desert. The day’s highlights will also include a patriotic concert performed by the Heatwave Boys and Girls Club Jazz Band. Limited seating will be provided at the park’s amphitheater. Attendees are also invited to bring blankets and portable chairs to enjoy the program in comfort. Alcoholic beverages and smoking are prohibited.
