Palm Springs International Film Society Announces In-Person Fest

PALM SPRINGS, CA — Organizers of the Palm Springs International Film Awards Thursday announced dates for next year's festivities.

The festival, which was held virtually this year due to the coronavirus pandemic, will return as an in-person event from Jan. 6, 2022, to Jan. 17, 2022.

The Film Awards Gala will kick things off Jan. 6, 2022, at the Palm Springs Convention Center, with film screenings beginning the next day.

This will be the 33rd installation of the annual affair.

Film Award Gala seats and tables will go on sale in Aug. 1. along with festival passes.

The Palm Springs ShortFest is still scheduled for this June 22-28, organizers confirmed.
