Palm Springs Police, Fire Chiefs Throw First Pitches at POWER Game​

The game is part of the team's 'First Responder Night', in honor of the men and women who protect and serve the Palm Springs community.

From the City of Palm Springs: Palm Springs Police Chief Bryan Reyes and Fire Chief Kevin Nalder will throw out the first ceremonial pitches at Wednesday night’s POWER baseball game as part of the team’s “First Responder Night,” in honor of the men and women who protect and serve the Palm Springs community.

The game kicks off at 7:05 p.m. on Wednesday, July 12, when the POWER take on the Arroyo Seco Sentinels in historic Palm Springs Stadium, 1901 E. Baristo Road.

During the event there will be several representatives from the Palm Springs Police and Fire departments to meet and mingle with. In addition, there will be a special visit from Sparky, the official mascot of CERT, the City’s Community Emergency Response Team.

Admission is $1 and gates open at 6 p.m.
