Palm Springs Pride Weekend Kicks Off

The weekend begins with a free outdoor dance party downtown.

PALM SPRINGS, CA — The 32nd annual Palm Springs Pride event kicks off Friday evening with an outdoor dance party in downtown.

Kristine W., the queen of 90s dance music, will headline the Arenas District Stage on Arenas Road between Indian Canyon Drive and South Calle Encilia. An '80s rock tribute band and several DJs will grace the stage as well.

The free event, presented the Arenas District Merchants Association, is the first of a weekend full of festivities celebrating all things LGBTQ in the Coachella Valley.

On Saturday, the Pride Festival begins in downtown Palm Springs at 11 a.m., with the famed Pride Parade beginning at Tachevah and Palm Canyon drives on Sunday at 10 a.m.
