Walk-ins Welcome At Palm Springs Convention Center Vaccine Site

The convention center has also extended its hours.

PALM SPRINGS, CA — Starting Tuesday, May 11, the Curative vaccination site at the Palm Springs Convention Center will extend its hours of operation, and appointments are no longer needed, the city announced.

The extended hours will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Monday, Wednesday and Friday hours of operation remain from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

"Appointments at the Convention Center, 277 N. Avenida Caballeros, are no longer required and walk-ins are welcome," the city of Palm Springs announced.

Riverside County residents 16 years and older are eligible to receive the Pfizer vaccine, and residents 18 years and older can receive the Moderna vaccine.

Teens under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian to get vaccinated.
