Woman Dies After Crashing Into Cement Median In Cathedral City
A male passenger suffered major injuries and was taken to a local hospital in critical condition, police said.

CATHEDRAL CITY, CA —A 47-year-old Hemet woman died Monday after the vehicle she was driving smashed into a cement median in Cathedral City, authorities said.
Officers responded just after midnight to the scene of a car crash on Dinah Shore Drive, east of Cathedral Canyon Drive, the Cathedral City Police Department reported, where they found a single vehicle had crashed into the center median.
The driver, Annette Sepulveda, was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency personnel.

A preliminary investigation showed the vehicle was traveling east on Dinah Shore and collided with the cement median at "a high rate of speed," according to a police statement.
